Beautiful heart, beautiful soul, I am indeed there, with every cell

Laying beside you in bed, snuggling in close and smelling your skin

Feeling your softness against me, our legs intertwined

Breathing beside you our hearts beat as one

A warmth and a knowing and contentment inside

Shutting my eyes I hear the waves lapping the shore

The silence of the night the chill breeze through the door

Breathing again, breathing you in, pulling you close and snuggling in

I’m missing your nearness, your warmth and your smile

Can’t seem to stop crying, my heart travels the miles

The call of your heart, deafening and strong

My soul is connected, has been all along

I’m there in your arms, in comfort at home

Yet physically I am here, in a van all alone

Tears roll down my face with the fear of unknown

The fear of the loss of losing our home

Of things moving on, of you no longer mine

A fear that this will be lost over time

A fear that is balanced with a feeling of bliss

Of completion and oneness I’m not ready to miss

A surging within me, to stand up and fight

And banish my fears long into the night

A connection of hearts and completion regained

A convergence of souls each on their own journey
