Darkness surrounds

Silence

Except for the fish

Splishing and Plopping as they jump out the sea

Stars bright in the sky

Spreading far spreading wide

Black mountains trace their shape against the sky

Sea rippling in as the tide turns to high

Light catching the shimmers

The wind blows on my face

Cold

Connecting

Somehow comforting

Presence

Silence

A shooting star passes up high

Another darts through

Splish

Plop

A bird cries

Wind blows in my ears as I ponder my life

Lessons so perfect

So present

Divine

Gifts to step through

From past to the light

I feel loved

And supported

So cuddled by life

I surrender to the now

And step through my fears

So perfect this journey

So grateful

So humbled

I trust you
